The island where it all began.
Sunnyvale was the first island I ever created in May of 2020 as a way to get my friends together online. I hosted parties with lots of games, and with the introduction of Dream Addresses, many of these games were playable to dream visitors.
For its final dream update, I recreated my friends' favorite activity - my murder mystery - and created a website to host the activity.

I hope you find it helpful!

The Spirit's Mystery
A Sunnyvale Murder Mystery
a wealthy businesswoman named Eve was found dead. When detectives
couldn't track down the murderer, the case went cold.
Not long after, the island residents began reporting strange sightings in the forest - the specter of Eve, unable to move on without her murder being solved.
Now, no one dares to walk through the woods for fear of encountering her spirit.
Long ago,
Can you solve the murder and help Eve's spirit move on?
How the Game Works
As you walk around the island, you'll notice that items related to the case have been marked as clues, each with their own individual number. Once you've discovered a clue, simply click on the corresponding box to learn more about it. It's recommended that you take notes on the clues that you find so you don't lose track. Do not view any clues that you haven't found. That's cheating!
Feel free to take notes as you play - it can help you keep track of the clues you uncover as you try to solve the mystery!
If you're interested in earning rewards in the Tad's Tavern discord server for completing the game, make sure you're reading these clues very carefully. You may be asked to take photos of certain things to prove that you have indeed played the game and haven't simply clicked through everything for the answers. The game isn't fun unless you play!
The questions you need to be able to answer to beat the game are:
1. Who is the murderer?
2. How did Eve die?
3. Where was the body found?
4. Where was the murder weapon?
5. What was the killer's motive?
Once you've completed the quest, you'll have the option to submit a form to answer the relevant questions. Once your response is submitted, you'll be informed whether or not you got it right, and the answers may or may not be revealed to you depending on your response to one of the form questions.

Let's Get Started
Now that you're ready to begin, you'll be able to find the testimonies of each island resident, as well as the list of clues available on the island. Not all of the clues have already been found by Sunnyvale's detectives, so the undiscovered clues will be marked with a magnifying glass.
These clues can be crucial to your case, so keep your eyes peeled!
While you may view the suspect interviews at any time, do not look at any clues until you have located them on the island.
Once you're finished, please fill out the completion form (linked at the bottom) and respond to the questions there, especially if you want to be rewarded in the Tad's Tavern discord server!

Completion Form
Think you've solved the murder mystery? See if you've got the answer right by sending in the completion form!
Also, if you've joined the discord server, you can be eligible to win special server rewards by solving the mystery. If this is something you're interested in, you'll be required to upload the photos you were asked to take along the way as proof that you did in fact play, and please make sure to include your discord ID in the form.
There will also be a question on the form asking if you'd like the answers to be revealed to you even if you got it wrong. If you click 'Yes', you will not be able to play again, and you won't be able to claim your discord rewards if you're a member if you got it wrong. However, if you click 'No,' you can replay as many times as you like and the answers will only be revealed if all of your responses were correct.
Now, with that out of the way,
